We offer inspections at all the critical construction stages:

Subfloor Stage

Concrete Slab - Pre-pour

The foundation of your home starts here. Before concrete is poured, we inspect the formwork, reinforcement steel, moisture barriers, and service penetrations to ensure everything is correctly set out and compliant with the engineering design, Australian Standards and building code.

Timber Framed Subfloor

If your new home is built on a timber subfloor, it’s essential to make sure the structure is well built and compliant before the build progresses. During this inspection we assess; bearers and joists, posts and footings, fixings and connections. We check all this for quality and compliance with the engineering design, Australian Standards and building code.

Frame Stage

Once the frame is up, we check walls, roof trusses, bracing, tie-downs and structural members for compliance with the engineering design, Australian Standards and building code. This ensures your home’s structure is compliant, well built and ready for the next stage of construction.

Pre-Plaster (Lock-Up) Stage

Before plaster goes on, we inspect framing, electrical, heating & cooling and plumbing rough-ins, window and door installations and wall wrap. This is the last chance to catch defects or poor workmanship before they’re covered up.

Fix-Out & Waterproofing Stage

At this stage, we check internal finishes, cabinetry, skirting, architraves, doors and waterproofing in wet areas. We make sure finishes meet quality standards and that waterproofing has been applied correctly to prevent costly water damage in the future.

Final Handover (Practical Completion)

Before you take the keys, we carry out a thorough final inspection. This includes all finishes, fittings, flooring, paintwork, external works and services. We look for defects, incomplete works, and building code compliance so you can move into your new home with complete confidence.
